Thanks for taking time to visit my homepage. I have 30 years experience working in the automotive industry, and I specialize in helping organizations (not just automotive) solve problems that lie at the interface between engineering and statistical science, and developing & integrating quality strategies for failure mode avoidance in all areas of the business - that is, eliminating problems before they actually occur (which is usually late in the work program or project, or worse still, with customers in the field). Click here for an overview. For the consultancy services that I offer, please click on the link in the list on the left of this page; the other links give some more details about me, my credentials, and my work. The "kimtag" link will take you to my contact details.
A little about me... I am a Chartered Statistician (CStat) and Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society (RSS), London, and a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE), London. I am also a senior member of the American Society for Quality, and a member of the American Statistical Association. I have previously been a Vice President of the RSS, and Chairman of the Business and Industrial Section. I am currently serving (until 2013) my second 4-year term on the Society's Council, and I was elected to the Executive Committee for the 2011 session. I am an honorary professor of statistical engineering in the School of Engineering, Design, and Technology, at the University of Bradford, and an honorary professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Warwick. From 2001-2008 I was the Henry Ford Technical Fellow for Quality Engineering at the Ford Motor Company.
